I'm sadly addicted to Asian drama. It started out with Korean drama and then Taiwan and Japan crept into the picture. Now I'm fully addicted and can't seem to stop myself. I'd ask for help, but I really don't want it. Enjoy my addiction with me!

I’m so addicted to Asian Drama….

I just purchased an MP3 player so I can download and listen to OST music… (I guess I can use it to listen to other music too)

30 day Asian Drama Challenge

06. Favorite Asian drama OST.

I don’t have a favorite really. I liked the OSTs from Protect the Boss and You’re Beautiful. Those two come to mind first.
In all honesty I seldom pay attention to the complete soundtracks of shows and movies. Only a couple of songs will stick out in my head. Then I’ll just purchase the songs separately rather than buying the entire OST.

Kiss Me - G.NA (Playful Kiss OST)

My Girl

Just finished watching My Girl starring Lee Dong Wook, Lee Jun Ki, Lee Da Hae (the 3 Lees! love that they share the same ‘last’ name) and Park Si Yeon. I was dubious at first because the first episode seemed a bit cheesy and the antics seemed a bit forced. However, I decided to give it a chance. Not all episodes are necessarily equal. Shows will have bad episodes, right?

Over all I liked it. The OST was good. I liked the combination of classical and modern music for the main song *Never Say Goodbye*. The first half of the drama was fun and it seemed all the drama was saved for the second half. Usually I like the fun and drama evenly spread through out the drama. So that’s a mark down for this show. I don’t have the desire to see it again. This means - I really like it, but I don’t love it enough to see it more than once. I give it a score of 7/10

Here’s a synopsis: When Gong Chan meets the lively and beautiful Yoo Rin, he finds out that she has connections to his missing cousin, whom his grandfather has been searching for. He asks Yoo Rin to lie about being his long missing cousin until he can find his real cousin. She says yes, but soon their feelings for each other get in the way of their plans. Gong Chan’s friend, Jung Woo falls for Yoo Rin while Gong Chan’s ex-girlfriend, Seo Hyun, a pro tennis player, tries to win him back. Will the two ever tell each other how they feel? Will Gong Chan ever find his real cousin? (source: mydramalist.com)

got my “You’re Beautiful” OST today!

finally received it in the mail direct from South Korea (from catchopcd.com via amazon.com)

here’s a picture from the internet:

and here’s a picture of my copy:

I’m so excited!! It’s my very first OST from a Korean drama (or any Asian drama) - I don’t purchase very many soundtracks, but had to have this one as I loved the music from the show.

OST Tune of the Day: Let Us Just Love - A Pink from SBS Protect the Boss

As much as I hate to admit it, this song has been played AND danced to in my car/shower/empty grocery store aisle more than a few times in the last 24 hours.

An anon asked me to post this but since I’ve already done that I’m reblogging it.

Realized I still had money on my Amazon gift card… so I went and purchased the “You’re Beautiful” soundtrack.

 It cost me nothing! Yes!

(I rarely buy soundtracks, so this is not only exciting, but also a weird experience for me)
